Senior Actor Naresh's name is quite popular among who watched late 80's and 90's Telugu films.

Kick started his career as an inheritor to actor-director Vijaya Nirmala, Vijaya Naresh proved his mettle. Nalugu Stambhalata would be his first shot to fame. He acted under the direction of Bapu for remarkable projects like Sri Variki Prema Lekha, Rendu Jalla Sitha. Naresh stepped into the shoes of a woman role in Chitram Bhala Re Vichitram and did it with ease. But it was EVV Satyanarayana's Jamba Lakadi Pamba that brought him laurels and said to be a landmark film in his career.

Though Naresh was seen as Venkatesh's brother in Malleswari, he was not seen much after the film. After taking a gap from silver screen, he tested his hand at Television. The latest is Naresh is back to big screen. His recent films Varudu, 100% Love, Mogudu brought him into limelight.

Now, he is playing lead roles, significant roles in 30 films, of course those are small-ticket films.

While his Raghupati Venkaiaha Naidu is ready for release, he acted in films like Sai Dharam Teja's Rey, Sudheer Babu's Aadu Magadra Bujji, Nitya Menon's Malinin 22, Sri Ramchandra's Prema Geema Jantha Nai and many others.

Naresh happens to be Mahesh Babu's brother. Meanwhile, he forayed into politics by joining BJP. He subsequently moved to Congress and now in YSR Congress. Looks like, Naresh is trying to build his film image considering next elections. Isn't it a game plan?
