Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra seems to be having a lot of respect for his 'Zanjeer' co-star Ram Charan. The actress found fault with people who have been drawing comparisons between Charan and Dhanush.
To a question on if Charan will be making inroads into Bollywood just like Dhanush has done with Raanjhanaa, Priyanka opined it's not right to generalize as everyone is quite different from one another. "Ram Charan is brilliant in Zanjeer. Audience should appreciate him for his individuality," she said.
Priyanka revealed that her first scene in the bilingual is a tribute to Jaya Bachchan who played the role of Mala, a street girl, in the original. PC will also be seen using a knife in the opening sequence for threatening the goons who chase her.
Mala character in 'Zanjeer' remake is a Newyork-based girl who comes to attend a wedding ceremony, but accidentally witnesses a murder that leads to her first meeting with ACP Vijay Kanna played by Ram Charan.
